I would absolutely recommend Dr. Aughton to anyone. He is very thorough and understanding. He has a good bedside manner, which is not as common with operating doctors in my experience. It was refreshing and really helped me feel much better, since I was on the table this time, not my mom.

I was having neck surgery. The staff was very friendly , very professional. I was made to feel very comfortable relaxed.. my surgeon didn't absolute amazing job!!! I was nervous as heck , All said and done everything came out great no added issues to any of the problems that we're going on a little sore to be expected but very happy that I chose my surgeon Dr.David Aughton

Bio

Dr. David Aughton is a general surgeon with Hartford HealthCare. Clinically, his areas of interest include: hernias; abdominal surgery; laparoscopic surgery; breast surgery; skin and soft tissue; and thyroids/parathyroids.

After finishing his undergraduate degree at the University of Central Florida, he earned a medical degree from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency, both in general surgery, at Quinnipiac University Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine/Waterbury Hospital.

Dr. Aughton is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Medical Association.
