COVID in Connecticut: Latest Town-by-Town, County and Age Group Numbers

February 10, 2022

It’s not the end of COVD-19, even though things are starting to feel different in Connecticut.

“We have almost a daily discussion about this,” says Dr. Ulysses Wu, Hartford HealthCare’s System Director of Infection Disease and Chief Epidemiologist. “It’s not just preparation for what we’re going to do with the next (variant). But also, what is the new norm? What is living with COVID going to be?”

It’s worth contemplating, even with every Connecticut town except Bridgewater, Canaan, Colebrook, Hartland and Warren still in red, high-risk territory, with at least 15 cases per 100,000 people.

“When do we react?” says Dr. Wu. “When do we not overreact? And when do we not underreact?”

Increasingly, it’s becoming a personal decision. So here’s where Connecticut stands. Hover over any town in the map below to find case numbers from the past two weeks. (The daily test positivity rate Feb. 10 was 4.45 percent.)
