The St. Vincent's Medical Center Special Needs Service mission calls upon us to create opportunities for people of differing abilities to live, learn, work, and play.
CHANGING IMAGES ADULT SERVICES addresses the goal for creating work opportunities. We provide the supports – training, job development and on-site assistance – which enable men and women challenged by developmental disabilities to do productive and meaningful work – and be paid for it. The Work Services program is provided from the CHANGING IMAGES site in the Oronoque section of Stratford and from several sites for supported employment located within businesses and corporations in the community.
